TRAI has given a fresh release to all telecom operators to take necessary steps to completely stop Promotional SMS Sending through Normal SIM Card (Phone to Phone Push)
Restrictions
Maximum 100 SMS per SIM per day and after that not less than 50 paisa Per SMS
SMS Special Vouchers/Tariffs are not going to work

Why Steep Hike on Web 2 Phone Traffic?
All Commercial SMSC Telecom Providers together decided to increase their termination costs which resulted to the steep price hike on Web SMS Traffic (Web to Phone)
In this regard we aggregates also force to increase our SMS cost by 4 to 7 times.
However TRAI has not given any regulations to telecom operators to implement any price hike to Web to Phone Traffic apart from the recent IUC charges of 5 paisa.
